Autumn Favourites- Canterbury Edition

Canterbury is a beautiful place but combined with autumn which is one of my favourite seasons it just makes for a magical mix. Walking through the Dane John Gardens surrounded by the fallen autumn leaves sipping on my Starbucks pumpkin spiced latte I am just totally in love with the whole feel of autumn, it’s definitely one of my favourite seasons.

I love all the colours and the flavours of autumn; the most popular flavour that is associated with autumn is cinnamon. There are loads of different health benefits of cinnamon; it is loaded with anti-oxidants, anti-inflammatory properties and cinnamon has been proven to lower blood sugar levels and has been proven to have powerful anti-diabetic effects. So throughout the autumn season why not add some cinnamon to get recipes, cakes, muffins, porridge?? to get you into the autumnal spirit plus… you will be getting all the added health benefits WIN!

Another exciting thing about autumn is all the gorgeous colours, the auburns, oranges and browns that just add that extra dimension to the surrounding landscape. It also makes driving down motorways a lot more exciting getting to look at all the different colours! Goes without saying that the falling leaves that everyone #instagrams (myself included) are another exciting and colourful addition to autumn.

Comment below and let me know your favourite thing about autumn

Till next time

I love the coziness of autumn. This really made me feel like going for a walk in the chilly air. Can you post some autumn recipes? Soups or cakes? Thanks
