Healthy Homemade Snacks

We’ve all seen the adverts and read the countless blog posts on ‘how to get that perfect summer body’. All of sudden everyone is putting down the ice cream spoon and dusting off those running shoes, there is no quick fix for ‘that perfect summer body’ just enjoy yourself and love the skin you are in! But every little helps right?!? I can’t take full credit for this creation, my cousin Abbie (who is amazing) first showed me this recipe. I have adapted it a little bit which is the beauty of this recipe; you can take it where you want to take it!

So here are some delicious healthy homemade balls that will help fill those gaps in-between meals where you really want to reach for that mars bar. These quick and easy snacks are SO easy to make, they won’t leave you with tons of washing up either *BONUS*

All you will need is:

A food processor

For the chocolate version

200 grams Cashew Nuts

200 grams Dates (piped)

3 tablespoons Raw Cacao Powder

Pinch of Cacao Nibs

Pinch of sea salt

For the apricot/coconut version

200 grams Cashew Nuts

Apricot 150 grams

3 tablespoons descanted coconut

Pop the cashews into the food processor until they form a crumble like consistency, then add the dates or apricots, BLEND, add the other ingredients, BLEND and you are done. Roll the mixture into whatever size balls you like and DONE.

Store in the fridge.
