Since its valentine’s day soon and pretty much everywhere you turn there are red hearts everywhere! I thought I would give my two pennies worth on a few simple and budget ideas for this special day. These few simple ideas are for everyone whether you are planning a romantic date night or a girly night in with your friends these essentials are guaranteed to add that extra sparkle to your day.
Flowers, who doesn’t love a good bunch of blooms?! I’m always gifting people with flowers whether it’s a friend, my mum or colleagues. Basically any excuse to buy flowers and I’m all over it! Sometimes I don’t even need an excuse I will just buy a bunch. So this valentine’s day why not buy someone a nice bunch of roses? You don’t have to spend a fortune on them, Asda, Aldi and Lidl actually do lovely bunches for budget prices.
Macaroons, as you all know I’m obsessed with these Arden’s macaroons (flick back to one of my first ever blog posts to see what I mean) and for ages I’ve wanted to get my hands on the chocolate flavoured ones and I finally did! These are a definite for a valentine’s day, they go perfectly with ice cream and a perfect chick flick with the girls or they are a perfect sweet treat with a glass of champagne or rose after a lovely meal for two.
Loved ones, whether its friends, or that special someone just enjoy this special day and don’t put too much pressure on it.
