Day Out At Wimpole

Me, Matt and his family spent a day out at Wimpole National Trust Site for his mums 60th birthday. It was literally 30 degrees outside and we were all sweating it out while walking around In the blazing heat. I took so many snaps of the beautiful flowers and scenery and wanted to share some of them with you.

You can take your own food and drink in with you which is a massive plus! especially in this heat.

During these times they have almost everything open, the shop and the restaurant are open so you can get cool drinks and ice cream to your hearts content. The only thing that isn’t open is the house.

The farm is still open. They had pigs, rabbits, cows, horses, goats, sheep and donkeys.

The farm is a great place for children. It will keep them well entertained. The toilets were also in immaculate condition!

There are loads of open green spaces where the kids can run and play and you can picnic.

If you are a better instagram photo taker than me, there are LOADS of beautiful instagram back drops to use.

We then celebrated with cake, what better way to celebrate?!

This stunning 60th themed cake was made by @asliscakes on Instagram she is a local cake company to St.Neots. Look her up for all your cake needs.
