November Favourites

These are probably my favourite blog posts to write because I just get to share all the things that I have been loving this month with you guys. I’m just going to get straight into it because I could ramble on forever about these products.

Biona spelt pasta- I get this pasta from Holland and Barrett and even though it does contain gluten it doesn’t cause my intolerance to flare up. The nice lady in there explained to me that it’s made from organic spelt flour. Even if you are not gluten free you can use Biona Wholegrain Spelt Pasta in your usual recipes and you won’t notice a difference in taste. Spelt is high in fibre which is really good for you. This 500g bag cost me £ 2.45 which is a bit more pricey than normal pasta but for me I much much prefer it to the gluten free ranges.

Blanx whitening teeth kit- I picked this up in boots because I was noticing that with all the coffee and tea that I was drinking my teeth were looking a little less sparkly and I wanted to bring back that shine.I chose this one because of the specific feature that its not aggressive on the enamel of your teeth but still gives great results. BlanX Extrawhite Intensive Whitening Treatment is a professional intensive whitening treatment created by experts within the BlanX laboratories.  Thanks to its triple action formula, it quickly and effectively removes stains from the teeth to restore them back to their natural whiteness:

  1. Its unique formula, based on Arctic lichen, is safe to use without being aggressive on the enamel.
  2. It contains a unique whitening agent which makes BlanX especially suitable for smokers and or drinkers of tea, coffee and red wine.
  3. It contains particles which effectively remove stains during brushing and which help to clean, polish and whiten the teeth.

Its super easy to use, just brush your teeth twice a day for 2 minutes with BlanX Extrawhite Intensive Whitening Treatment.  Use continuously over a period of two weeks and you will see visible results that can be measured using the BlanXometer inside the pack. Use the BlanX LED Bite to activate the ActiluX formula for 1 minute every time you use BlanX White Shock Intensive Treatment and for even more shocking whiteness 10 minutes once a week. This cost me £115.99 in boots.

Pure dusk perfume (new look)- I was running out of my fragrance at the beginning of the summer time and was in new look picking up some summer essentials for my holiday to spain and came across this sample fragrance at the till. I bought it as an impulse buy and haven’t been disappointed.  This scent is a modern interpretation of an oriental fragrance. It entwines the elegance of iris with the strength of patchouli and the sweetness of a gourmand blend. The 100ml bottle cost me £12.99 which is good for a perfume, highly recommend.

Garnier intensive 7 days moisturiser- As the winter cold gets harsher and the air gets dryer and colder this moisturiser will be something you won’t want to put down. With its light texture and fast absorbancy you can get dressed in a flash! It will leave your skin feeling irresistibly soft. Its available in 5 variances for each skin type with beautiful fragrances. Price depends on the size you choose to go with, ranges from £1.49 to £3.65.

Nivea lip butter- This coconut lip butter is exactly what you need to fight the cold weather. The moisturizing formula of Nivea Lip Butter with Hydra IQ contains Shea Butter and Almond Oil and provides intense moisture and long-lasting care. The indulging formula creates sensationally soft lips. It smells amazing and is guaranteed to leave your lips soft and shiny.

Milled Linseed cereal topping- This stuff has just transformed my breakfast! I put on top of porridge I put it with yogurt and fruit as well as tasting delicious it also has amazing nutritional properties. The Crownfield Milled Linseed features 85% Linseed and also includes sesame seeds, cranberry and blueberry ingredients. I can’t remember the price of this but if you can comment below and let know.

My coconut island treaclemoon- I picked this up in waitrose for £2.99 and  was not dissaponted. This is for you guys out there that love a bit of coconut. If you don’t like coconut then you won’t like this. tMy coconut island is a sweet swelling and luxuriously soft shower gel that leaves your skin feeling and smelling amazing. Treaclemoon have a great range of products and I just love their slogan: ‘Always remember that true beauty begins from the heart… our lovely recipies simply do the best they can for your skin and your smile!’
Star string lights sainsburys- I thought I would also include these in case anyone wanted to know where I got them from. My housemate actually picked these up in sainsburys for £12.99 and they are stunning they come with batteries included and are approx. 4m total length. You can use these fairy lights for anything really, indoor or outdoor, either way they will look stunning!

That’s a wrap for this months favourites. Let me know what you guys think of these products or if you have tried them before.

Till next time,

Lydia
